Following the 1979 presentation of a new alphabet for the Nivkh language by the Russian Socialist Republic Ministry of Education, school primers were published for the Sakhalin Island and Amur dialects.Ŝetinina, 2013. The work on the Amur dialect primer was led by Taksami Čhuner Mikhailovich.Mikhailovich et al, 1982.
