For the launch of Nina Stössinger’s Nordvest in 2016, Monokrom commissioned Nikolai Sabel to create a topographical model of Mykines, a small island out west of the Faroes that featured as a motif in the Nordvest Tour travelog. Pictures of the model accompanied an essay on the Faroese painter Sámal Joensen-Mikines who grew up on the island.
