The motif is captioned in three languages: Danish (possibly Norwegian), Greenlandic and English, with a note that the printing is executed at the lithographic printshop in Godthaab (Nuuk): “Kolonien Godthaabs Bog- og Steentrykkeri 1836”. The Greenlandic spelling follows Samuel Kleinschmidt’s orthography from 1851.
