Ernest Witzig’s poster for Graphic 57.
The poster for the Graphic 57 Ausstellung der Papier- und Druckindustrie (“Exhibition for the Paper and Printing Industry”) trade fair in Lausanne was designed by Ernest Witzig, and also adapted as a postage stamp.
Graphic 57 debuted the Modernist neo grotesk with three parallell typeface releases: Adrian Frutiger’s Univers type, Eduard Hoffmann and Max Miedinger’s Neue Haas Grotesk, and Folio by Konrad Friedrich Bauer and Walter Baum.
