For the release of Monokrom’s Riks typeface, a limited edition alphabet poster was created from the metal stencils. The design was prepared and sprayed at Consulatet in Stavanger, Norway.

“A” and “O” were replaced by the Norwegian “Å” and “Ø”, the “I” swapped with numeral “1”, and the Monokrom logotype was used instead of the “M”. Finally, an upside down “L” combined with a special stencil to form the image of Georg Fredrik Fasting’s famous Riks telephone kiosk in red and silver color.Fasting, 1932.
