For the 2022 exhibition Typografiske begreper illustrert (“Typographic terms illustrated”), Frode Helland was commissioned by letterpress printer Ane Thon Knudsen to typeset and print a poster illustrating the typographic term “glyph”. A digital representation of the lowercase “a” from Fabric Sans, in outline form with Bézier curves and handles marked, was produced as a photo polymer plate and printed alongside the definition.
